Mine2Learn

Mine2Learn aims to develop a gamified learning platform, which simulates the mining value chain while integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. By fostering sustainable practices and social responsibility, Mine2Learn not only aim to enhance technical knowledge but also molds future mining professionals to be ethical and ecologically conscious.

The project is carried out at Luleå University of Technology in collaboration with Teknikens Hus Foundation and Viscaria mining company. The work is supported by the Impact Innovation program “Swedish Metals & Minerals,” a joint initiative of the Swedish Energy Agency, Formas, and Vinnova. The project is also co-funded by the strategic area “SUN – Natural Resources for Sustainability Transitions” at Luleå University of Technology.
